About Us

Lost River is an outpatient rural-based program that provides intervention to adults (18 years and older), Native and non-Native. Our program provides treatment for issues related to behavioral health challenges, life stressors, substance misuse, and addiction. We take a holistic approach to treatment, addressing every aspect of the client's mental health and well-being. Each client is valued as a unique individual who deserves, respect, dignity, care, and culturally sensitive options.

Our Services

Counseling & Support

We offer individual, family, and group therapy to address the client’s mental health needs utilizing interventions such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). Peer Recovery Support services are also offered to address housing, transportation, food security, and employment issues.

Psychiatric - Mental Health Medication Management

We aim to lower barriers to medications for psychiatric conditions as well as address co-occurring psychiatric disorders. Psychiatric medications can help address issues such as anxiety, depression, and mood instability, among other behavioral health symptoms.

Medication for Opioid Use Disorder

Medication for Opioid Use Disorder is a treatment that utilizes Buprenorphine prescribed by a medical provider, in combination with counseling to reduce symptoms of withdrawal and address the root causes of opioid addiction.  Our medical and behavioral health treatment team will develop a customized treatment plan aligning with the client’s wellness goals.

Community Outreach and Awareness

We aim to reduce the stigma related to receiving treatment for addiction issues through community education and other harm reduction efforts, such as offering free Naloxone Kits and fentanyl testing strips.
